During my stay at Asseu, I was blown away by the breathtaking views of the sea from the spacious room. The large windows allowed me to wake up to the sound of crashing waves and the sight of the crystal clear water. The direct access to the communal outdoor terrace was a bonus, where I could enjoy a drink while taking in the Mediterranean view. The owner, Sara, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The daily change of sheets and towels, along with the comfortable bed, ensured a perfect night's sleep. Although tucked away, the peacefulness of the location was truly a heavenly experience.

One drawback of the hotel is its remote location, accessible mainly by car. There is a one-way tunnel with a slow stoplight that can cause delays if you miss the green light.

The spacious rooms with an ensuite share a sea side terrace. The shingle beach is not ideal for swimming. The breakfast is excellent. The owner is helpful.

I recently stayed at a hidden gem right on the ocean called Asseu in Sestri Levante. My purpose was to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The room was spotlessly clean, modern, and had a stunning view to wake up to. The staff, especially Sara, were incredibly welcoming and made our stay extra special. The breakfast was exceptional with a wide variety of options, including made-to-order eggs. The hotel also had a private pebbled beach, perfect for a swim. I had a wonderful time at Asseu and would highly recommend it.

The buffet breakfast was delicious and plentiful, and the wifi worked well. Parking on the street was easy and convenient. The hotel was in a great location for visiting both the Cinque Terre and other nearby towns like Portofino and Santa Marguerita Ligure.
